Shared Custody
Shared Custody's calendar feature goes well beyond basic scheduling to allow for user customization of different colors for different children or households. Our scheduler allows users to input both court ordered and non-court ordered events like medical and therapy appointments, extra-curricular activities, school assemblies or conferences, birthday parties, or parent-child date nights. Shared Custody also tracks parenting time, vacation time, and holiday time and reminds parents if they are scheduling an activity during the other parents' time. And the scheduler's homework tracker will help to ensure that a child never misses an assignment in the shuffle between households.
Every calendar event that is entered into Shared Custody can be be programmed with the requirement that a parent either confirm that the child was taken to the activity or provide a reason why the activity was missed.
In addition to scheduling activities, Shared Custody's scheduler tracks the children's medication schedules, including those taken for long-term medical conditions and short-term infections. Each parent or caregiver can confirm the delivery of medications to the children, preventing an overdose or underdose as the child goes back and forth between households. Parents can also send messages regarding prescription refills and scheduling which caregiver will be responsible for picking up the refill.

Shared Custody integrates the parties' already existing email and text accounts so that co-parents no longer send and receive communications or requests that don't first pass through our system.
Perhaps one of the most exciting features we offer our customers is the ability to request certified copies of their account records (including messages, expense trackers, calendar items, and many more) for use in court or mediation situations.
Another feature will allow both parents to see when the other parent has read and received messages, calendar items, or other requests or documents. Parents will be required to respond to inquiries from the other party within a certain period of time. If they do not, they will be locked out of the service and will not be able to access their account until their response is generated and recorded. Our reminders are computer generated, matter-of-fact, and save parents the distress of re-sending questions and the potential of escalating to a high-conflict communication situation.
